Our Editorial Team
How our stories are researched, written, and reviewed — including our disclosed composite narrator.
How our team works
- Editors choose topics, decide which sources to trust, and set the rules every article follows.
- AI tools help find and read sources, translate local-language pages, and prepare first drafts. They do not decide what is true.
- Reviewers check every article against its sources and approve it before it is published.
Where our facts come from
Official and primary sources come first — government and operator pages and official notices — then reputable publications where nothing better exists. Facts that change carry the date we last checked them. First-hand notes and photos are used only when we have them and can date them, and we never describe a visit that did not happen.
Our narrator
Some stories are told by a disclosed composite narrator — a consistent voice built from real first-hand accounts, not a single real person. Articles told this way say so at the top.
