Editorial & Review Policy
This page explains who writes what you read, what we check before publishing, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Who makes an article
- Editors choose topics, decide which sources to trust, and set the rules every article follows.
- Reviewers check every article against its sources and approve it before it is published.
Sources
We prefer, in this order: official and primary sources; the venue's or operator's own page; first-hand notes and photos from our own team, only when we have them and can date them; and reputable secondary reporting where nothing better exists. Facts that change carry a verification date and a link to the authoritative source where one exists. If we cannot verify something, we leave it out or say plainly that we could not confirm it.
Verification dates and updates
Time-sensitive articles are re-checked at least once a year, and sooner when a reader tells us something changed or when an official source announces a change. When we re-check an article we update its verification date, even if nothing changed.
What a reviewer checks before publication
- Accuracy — facts, figures, and dates checked against the sources
- Sources and rights — primary sources linked in the text; permission confirmed for every photo and quotation
- Experience and credentials — nothing claims a visit or a qualification we do not have
- Fit — the article suits this site's subject and its readers
- Added value — what this article adds beyond existing pages, and where the evidence for it sits in the text
The reviewer records the answer to one question with every approval: *whose problem does this help with, what did it add, and where is the evidence?* An article is not published until a person has answered it.
Narrators and first-person experience
Some stories are told by a disclosed composite narrator: a consistent voice built from real first-hand accounts — our own notes and accounts shared with us — never from imagination. We say so on the article and on the team page. We never present a place we have not visited or verified as a first-person experience, and we never invent reviews, credentials, or people.
Corrections
When you tell us something is wrong, we check it against the source. If we confirm an error we fix it within five business days, note the correction and its date at the foot of the article, and update the verification date. Small changes, such as a typo, are made without a note. To report a problem, email aneruakorea@gmail.com.
Independence
Advertising, affiliate commissions, and hosted experiences never decide what we cover or how we rank it, and they are disclosed in the article.
