Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to read Anerua Korea, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion.

The standard we aim for

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We treat it as the measure for new pages and for changes to the design.

What we do

• Text alternatives for images that carry information; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
• A "skip to content" link, one main heading per page, and headings in order
• Keyboard access to menus, search, and forms, with a visible focus outline
• Color contrast and text that can be resized without breaking the layout
• Touch targets large enough to use on a phone, and no content that moves or plays by itself
• Reduced-motion settings in your device are respected

How we check

Every build runs automated checks for missing image descriptions, heading order, and broken links, and we test the site with a keyboard at phone, tablet, and desktop widths. Automated checks cannot find everything, so reports from readers matter.

Known limitations

• Advertising and other third-party content is produced by others and may not meet the standard.
• Maps and other embedded services depend on the provider's own accessibility.
• Older articles may have image descriptions that are shorter than we would write today; we improve them as we re-check each article.

Email aneruakorea@gmail.com with the page address and what went wrong, and which assistive technology and browser you use if you can. We reply within five business days and tell you what we will do and when. If a page is unusable for you, ask us and we will send the content in another format.
